Suddenly my printer stopped working. It did not show up in the printers list so i tried to reinstall it. I restarted the computer and it showed up again. Every time i try to uninstall or add printer i get this message. Spooler service is not started start the service or restart the computer. I tried fixing it by searching the internet and all i got was a link that wanted me to buy something. Can someone help?
Hit the Windows key and the R keys at the same time. Type
services.msc
Hit enter.
Look at the top for somethings like dlcj, dlee and make sure it set for Automatic and restart the service. Also go down to Print spooler, and make sure it's set for automatic and restart the service.
There were no dlcj or dlee listed. I did go to the print spooler and set it to automatic and restarted it. Restarted the computer and when it came up i got this message. Spooler Sub System app stopped working and was closed. When i tried to install the printer i got the same message as before. :-(
Was looking at your information. Do you have any problems with the USB Ports? This model, sometimes get issues with the usb ports.
I also see that your ip address is very high. Do you have a wireless router and is your network secured?

The printer is a Dell2135 cn. No i have not had any issues with the USB ports but i will attatch it to a different port and see if that works. Yes i have a wireless router and yes it is secured.
You might want to start a new thread and in the subject state something like Dell 2135cn Printer getting the Print spooler message and someone can possibably help you. Í don't have a lot of knowledge about Dell Laser printers, mostly inkjet.
