Outlook/Hyperlinks

Hi there,

I want to add an hyperlink into the text of an email. I want the read to click on a particular word which will take them to the web page I want them to see. I highlight the word, click on the hyperlink icon, a window opens called Insert Hyperlink and at the bottom of this box is a line where I can place the address of the web page I want the person to view. The problem is I cannot copy and paste the address into this address line, I have to do it manually. Surely I should be able to copy and paste, shouldn't I? Any suggestions appreciated.

Charles

    CharlesCollins,

If you have copied the URL you wish to use as the target for the hyperlink, simply click in the Address box then press Ctrl-V to paste the contents of the Windows Clipboard there.
