Blade Server
I have two issues:
PowerEdge M640 blade server - blinking amber light indicating an error - Each Bay holds 2 SATA 240GB SSD (shows amber light on blade, but not on SATA disks)
Also have a large server for network attached storage housing several 8TB SAS 12Gb 7.2k. One of them has a blinking amber light indicating an error.

For the second issue you can check blinking patter and try to identify issue. You can refer below link for blinking pattern reference.
You can also check physical disks status in iDRAC or PERC configuration utility to get more details on failure.

Hi, what does disk status look like in IDRAC? Could you show us? Or from CMC is fine. (Chassis Management Controller) "blinking amber light indicating an error" this alone won't tell much, I'm afraid.
