Poweredge t620 compatibility with intel xeon e5-2696v2
Hi, I've checked the cpu supported table on the technical guide and the server has compatibility with:
E5-2697v2 2.7Ghz30M8.0GT/s12Yes130W
E5-2695v2 2.4Ghz30M8.0GT/s12Yes115W
But the eg 2696 v2 doesnt appear..
As it can run a 2697 wich has more tdp than the e5 2696, i think it should be able to run it.
Can anyone help me with this?

Hello,
I could not see the E5-2696v2 either. In fact, when you think of it, one thinks as if it works on the T620, but there is a possibility of having problems. Once a user was similarly having trouble with the processor he just bought. When we compared the model of the processor with the contents of the guide, it was not listed on the guide. Therefore, especially considering the high cost of the processor, I cannot recommend you to try a processor other than the guide, there is a possibility of incompatibility. So I can't say give it a shot. Maybe it can help if anyone in the community has the opportunity to test this or use it.
