Installing second CD Drive...

Question

Currently have a NEC NR-7900A CD-R drive in my Dell Dem 4300. Purchased an I/O Magic DVD+/_RW Internal (IDE) drive . Which drive should be the primary drive. Is there a preference?  Thanks, Mauhaut

From the advice of 3rd party software companines, they say to put the DVD burner as Master and the CD-R as Slave on the secondary channel.  I'm assuming it's just those two drives and a hard drive and maybe a floppy.

Already installed in system are 2 hard drives and a floppy.  New DVD burner will install in the empty cd burner bay. Is there a problem in having 2 H/D's & 2 Burners?
