I'm curious how other people are managing the host connectivity flags for different host types. We have always defined specific ports for certain host types. I know there is another way to do it now with the masking of the hosts, but I haven't looked to far into it.

Are there many people using this new (potentially more flexible) method?
Are there drawbacks to doing it the "new way"?
Did you start with fresh ports or did you somehow "migrate" you're existing ports from the old way to the new way on the fly?
