Hi,

I have a T310 with integrated NIC as well as 2 additional ethernet adapters and i'd like to enable WOL.

From what i understand about WOL it can be enabled via OS (mine is Windows Server 2008 R2) for hibernate and sleep modes, but that you need a BIOS setting to enable it from a powered down state. Is this correct? If so, is this option available with the T310 as i cant see any relevant setting in the BIOS?

Is there a recommended/official dell utilitly for sending a magic packet or will any old freeware do the job?
