Would you be so kind as to elaborate on what you are referring to?    Which Venue device and which sensor?   What is the problem?

Haven't seen that problem but will check with our Android lead and ask him to look/respond here.

    Hello,

I have the same touch screen problem on my Dell Venue 7. It was on the original Android 4.2 firmware and still remains after the update to 4.4. The picture twitches and trembles when you make slow finger movements - it's very unpleasant to read texts and browse sites. Many owners have this problem as I can see from different forums where the device is being discussed.

Hope that you'll be able to fix it soon. Thank you.

Some things you may want to try before calling support for help and or having the system serviced under you warranty terms and conditions.

Put the system in safe mode

     1)      Press and Hold power button until the following appears on the screen:

    2) Press and hold the Power off option until the following appears:

    3) Click ok and system will reboot. Safe mode should be listed in the lower left corner of the screen when the system reboots:

If you find this help I would start looking at apps installed and or third party software.

The next thing I would try is a factory reset you can do it one of two ways

From within the OS follow the Dell KB

Reset, backup, and restore on the Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets

     Via the android boot menu

    1. Press and hold the power button until the tablet completely powers off
    2. With AC power connected to the tablet, Press Volume Down and the Power Button  (Volume Down + Power) at the same time.
    3. Select RECOVERY
    4. When you see the Android Robot Icon, Press Volume Up and the Power Key (Volume up + Power) at the same time (around 10seconds)
    5. Select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" then select "Yes - Delete all user data to factory reset"
    6. After factory reset completes, select "reboot system now" to reboot system.

Safe Mode does not remedy the situation. and return to factory settings I have done did not help. the fact is that this problem occurs for all users out of the box already.

Please check sensor driver and test the device.
