Hi. I have Dimension 3000 with WinXP SP2. Most times when I click on a link in the IE browser or try to open a new webpage, I end up having to double click. I notice that the IE first goes to www.ad.doubleclick.net (slash something which I am not able to catch as it goes too fast). I am assuming this is some kind of adware/spyware. I use Spybot S&D, Spy Sweeper, and Norton Internet Security 2005 Spyware Edition, and even running these I have not been able to get rid of this double clicking menace. I have disabled Windows Firewall as recommended by Norton while installing their new Spyware Edition. I am assuming it is okay to do so.

 

Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
