startup

for some reason my computer cannot get past the startup screen, it does the usual stuff at the beginning when you jjust turn it on, but right before it goes to start up, it says "setup is being restarted", and before this was happening it would not start up, instead a stop messag in a blue screen would come up.  Im not sure if this is virus related but i figured this would be a good board to start at. Thanks

The reason you are getting this screen about "setup being restarted " is because you popped in the Xp cd when you had the blue screen error and started a reinstall of windows and then removed the xp cd before the reinstall was complete.
