We are planning to move some storage to SVC.

At present we have a host with a masking view which is having 10 devices, we need to migrate this to another host

so in VMAX masking view

Storage group having 10 devices

Initiator group having 2 WWNs zoned

Port group having 2 FAs.

If we zone the new host and add it to the initiator group, can we see the same devices on the new host? or do we need to create another storage group with a different masking view??? exclusively for migration? which is the best practice??
