Hi

I had media center edition on my inspiron 6400. I just did a clean install and reboot my laptop after finishing the windows update. However weird things happened at the welcome screen. I clicked my user-icon, it says "loading personal settings" but after 2 seconds, it turns back as though I didn't ever clicked the user-icon. I tried safemode, administrator acount but couldn't get over it.

I googled around and found someone in a forum suggestting to copy the userinit.exe file on another computer and overwrite the wsaupdater.exe file. But I don't have a floppy disk and I tried to using a flash drive but failed.

 

Can anyone help me?
