I'm a new owner of a Dell Studio 15 (1537) and it came with a "Reinstallation DVD - Windows Vista Home Premium 64BIT SP1" DVD.

First, I'm going to back up the entire hard drive as it came from the factory.  I've not installed any programs or even connected to the internet yet.

My goal is to have a pristine Vista system with all the drivers for every port on the Studio 1537 but without any 3rd party software that Dell normally puts on the PCs that they sell.  If I install Vista using the Reinstallation DVD, will it only install Vista without any 3rd party software?  Then if I install the drivers using the "Drivers and Utilities Already Installed ON Your Computer" DVD, will that also install just the drivers without any 3rd party software?

What about the hidden Dell partition and the Recovery D: partition?  Will they be restored when I use the Reinstallation DVD?
