I have an Insperon 1520 I need to down grade to windows XP from Vista.  My programs will not run on Vista. 

 

I have an XP disk to install.  I deleted the partitions on the hard drive and re partitioned using the Dell media center disk.  Then inserted my XP disk.  The XP install program runs to the point where it tells you to hit enter to install XP.  At this point the install stops with a message that says:

 

"Set up did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.  Setup cannot continue to quit setup press F3."

 

What am I doing wrong.  Any Ideas??  I need XP Vista is just not an option at the moment.

Insperon 1520

2.2 core 2 duo

4GB ram

Nividia 8800m
