In Internet Explorer 7, I find it sometimes occupies 90% and more of processor resources.

 

Is this common with the recent IE updates?

 

Particularly when using tabs IE can hang and just stop reacting?

 

Can anyone explain the problem and what internet settings can be changed to control this?

 

PC is Inspiron 5150, windows XP Home.

Pentium 4 3.06Ghz

512MB RAM

 

I never had problems using tabs in IE7 when it was first available.  The problem is fairly recent and doesnt seem to conicide with any additions to my system (havent made any) nor can I tell if its due to any windows updates.
