I'm trying to synch my ustarcom 6700 running windows 5.0.  In doing such, I cannot get the Activesynch program to install once downloaded. When I try to install Activesynch 4.0 or 4.2, it installs but does not detect the plugged in device. The computer also doesn't detect the plugged in device. When I try and install activesynch 4.5 I get the following error message:

 

"Error. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor?"

 

Please help.
