I purchased a Dell Dimension/XPS 9150/400 system recently with a 2.8G dual core CPU and windows XP Home edition installed. I ran into some strange things. Occasionally, the bar on the bottom disappears and after a while reappear. But if I put the mouse on the bar, it will disappear again. I can't touch it so I can't run any applications. I can only use alt-tab to access existing applications. Currently, the bar disappeared for f5 minutes already and didn't show up again. Is this kind of system problem? What possibly causes the problem? Can any one help? Any input will be greatly apprediated.

BTW, I maybe accidentally uninstall some dell software. I don't have the "burn a backup CD" options on the Program group. Is there a way that I can burn a backup CD? Thanks.
