I have 4Gig of DDR3 in my system on Winows Vista 32bit, now Windows recognises 3.8Gb but i only have 1.7Gb of physical Ram left, 2.1Gb is used in 'pagefile.sys', now i was wandering if there is a way to reduce the amount the pagefile.sys uses?
It's only showing that much because you have two 9800GX2 video cards. The 32bit version of Windows has about a 3.8GB memory address limit total. That includes video memory. If you subtract the 2GB of video memory from that along with a little virtual memory Vista likes to use, that's what you get.

The memory is different but is still part of the total memory that Windows has to register and address. It takes priority over the normal RAM and that is why you only see the 1.75GB.
