I am installing the boxed version of Wordperfect X3 after removing the trial version. The following sequence occurs:

Validating install O.K.

Updating component registration completes but immediately goes to Stopping service and install freezes.

Must close using Task Manager.

I have been told that this is an Access Error 1921. How do I get past this?

I have contacted Corel and been told that it is a Windows problem. Dell extended warranties don't cover Dell installed software but one must pay for software tech support.
