still can't chat
can someone tell me what is wrong with this thing? I can go to websites but when I click on chat if the website has a chat room and I click on it , it will send me to my desktop, it does not close the internet connection. I have a dim 3000 xp I have downloaded spybot, and ad-ware.

I tried to go to the Java and when I clicked on it, it loaded for just a minute and then bam it went to the desktop, is there anyway else I can download this ? Help.. Now that I think about it, I think that Java was removed from my pc by mistake.. Help..

Many chat rooms require a Java virtual machine. See if downloading and installing one on your system corrects your problem. Get Sun's Java Runtime Environment from here.
