Nvidia driver version discrepancy between Support Assist and GeForce Experience

Support Assist and Dell Update were reporting that version 30.0.14.7135 of the Nvidia driver was available for download.

However, the actual driver installed from GeForce Experience, which was also indicating a driver update, was 30.0.14.7212 (472.12 in GFEx).

I'm unsure what the difference is between these drivers, as they only differ slightly in patch numbers (last group), and were both available at about the same time. Is the Dell driver better optimized for an XPS, where the Nvidia driver is more generic? Or maybe GEFx had a more update-to-date version available. Should I go with the Dell driver next time?

I've been updating the driver for years using GFEx without a problem across multiple XPS models, but would rather use Dell specific versions if they are more optimized and/or better supported?

Also, Support Assist and Dell Update kept reporting a driver update until after a reboot.
