Area-51m, touchpad not scrolling

I received my area051m yesterday. before doing all the updates my touchpad worked perfectly. After the updates the scrolling would not work in the start menu at all and only a little in browser windows and apps. I tried multiple things to fix this, nothing worked. I decided to roll back to before the updates. It works perfectly again. I installed each update one by one till I found out which one it was. Turns out its the dell touchpad update that's causing it. Now here is the rest of my issue. Even without that update installed something else is causing my scroll not to work when I initially turn my laptop on. But if I go to device manager, disable and reenable the touchpad driver it works. however, I have to do this every time I turn on my laptop. I also tried the disabling and reenabling the touchpad method with the latest driver for it but it wouldn't work at all.

    Hi

What driver & Alienware Pointing Devise App did you install? What compilation of Win 10 have you?

In my Ali both touchpad driver and ADP - version 19.5.17.13.

    Windows 10 (1909) comp.18363.535

Disable all of the touchpad options in the Tobii and retest.

They were on, I turned them all off. Restarted the laptop and the scrolling works. Is it supposed to function like that?

Unless you're using the Tobii Eye tracking. Then you can keep those off.

To fix the touchpad scrolling issue on your Area-51m R2, try manually installing the Dell Touchpad Driver version Dell-Touchpad-Driver_DFFHT_WIN64_19.5.17.16_A01_03.EXE
