m15 R2, Power Limiting
Hello,
I have an Alienware m15 R2 i7 with 2060. Because i am mostly at home, i unplugged my battery from mobo. But this time while i am gaming, i have started to see decreased performance. My power brick is 180w. That's why when the device uses its full power, it doesn't be enough. At the same time i dont wanna use my battery cause it has been only one month and it has decreased from 76wh to 72wh health. So if i request 240w adapter, does it solve my problem? Or the bios is limited to 180 watt power usage?

180watts is terrible. Just use the 240 watt to get no Power throttling or current throttling.

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
