m17, new, buzzing sound under gaming load

Just got a new Alienware m17 with an RTX 2070 in it. I had a couple issues initially with the laptop just on getting it set up, but got past that. Now what I have noticed is that under a relatively light gaming load, there is a buzzing noise coming from the board I assume. The fan noise is expected, but this buzzing noise I don't get. I made sure to update the BIOS and software when I initially set it up.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

It could be coil whine. Since the system is new a call to Dell tech support might be in order.

I have exactly the same problem.

Mine only happens in Windows.  When booting up and shutting down, the noise stops.  The buzzing is under or around the F7 key.

It does not buzz in Linux (booting from a USB key).  This almost feels like Windows is doing it and it is not a hardware issue.  Very strange.

Did you get an answer to the problem?
