How force remove DataDomain from Avamar?

Hi all,

we tested DataDomain some days integration with Avamar  AVE6.1.  Now is DD gone back to EMC and I don't know, how disconnect DD from Avamar configuration.

When I try delete DataDomain, it fails with "Error searching for backups". All client backups were deleted, but Avamar still need connection to now non-existent DD and all checkpoint validations end with error and generate "A data integrity issue" event.

Is possible force delete DataDomain from Avamar config?

    It is simple.

    1. delete all DD backups

    2. With mccli delete DataDomain (force switch)

    3. delete failed checkpoints with undocumented avmaint command

    4. Acknowledge "Data integrity" alerts - reset password from EMC support needed

I would recommend opening a service request for this issue.

This is missing a critical step.  A service request will need to be opened for similar issues.
