Adding new zones to windows cluster boxes

Currently we have a SQL 2000 cluster made up of three Windows 2003 servers (two nodes active and one passive). Originally they were connected to older Brocade switches but now it appears that they are connected through the MDS switches to the DMX100 through ports 2db and 15db (I verified this by looking at Power Path). I will remove the old zones from the Brocade as they Brocades will soon be retired. In additon I will add two new MDS zones to the SQL cluster boxes to 2ca and 15ca.

After making the zoning changes I plan to do the following -

1. From Disk Management on the 3 windows boxes do a "Rescan Disks"
2. From a command prompt run "powermt check reconfig"

I may even run "symcfg discover" immediately after the zoning changes.

These SQL cluster boxes are mission critical 24/7 servers. I just want to verify that my approach is correct and I can do this during the day with databases and users online.
