Difficulty Receiving Promotional Gift Card, #2

Same problem here, over 2 months and still haven't received anything. It is definitely a scam. They make the claim process as difficult as possible and reject your claim for no reasons. And they have all kinds of different non-sense excuses every time you follow up with them. Already wasted countless hours on calls and emails. What is the best way to escalate this and file a formal complain to regulators?

For those who have the same problem in Canada, I am considering to file a formal complaint to the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.

Placed my order of Dell 27 Gaming monitor eligible for $100 VISA gift card promotion on Aug 28, 2019
Followed the claim process, waited 30 days, didn't receive anything. Spent countless hours on phone and emails, got confirmation multiple times that my purchase is eligible and promised I will receive my gift card within certain day period. NOTHING, no updates, no explanation. It has been well over 2 months now and I still haven't received it nor any timeline on when will I get it. The most frustrating part are dealing with customer care/ VISA promotion team. Every time I call, I got a different nonsense excuses. Some examples are my claim is mistakenly rejected and there is a team to manually review it and fix it and yet have no information on the timeline, digital gift card is not in stock and they have no timeline on when it will be back in stock and other . They are full of lies and in-consistent information and never actually solve the issue. They simply push the responsibility to another team and redirect your call again and again, you will have to explain the same issues to 5 different agents yet they are all useless. It should not be the customer job to fix the mistakes your company made, and we should not spent hours to follow up on it. Promotion is part of the order. We paid for the order and never receive the items you promised. They make the claim process as difficult as possible and reject your claim for no reasons. It is clearly a failure to fulfill their promise as a company. What is the best way to escalate this and file a formal complain to regulators?

    Hi,

I haven’t heard from you since our last conversation.

Could you confirm the registered owner's name, telephone # and the email address to have this claim reviewed?
