After checking other manufacturers desktops,  I decided to go with Dell and bought an Alienware. My first ever Dell machine. I called customer service on 17Jan  to follow up when will Production begins since shipping is supposed to be on the 18Jan. The next day, I received a casual email stating the ETA will be delayed to 4Feb instead of 25Jan. Now, I probably need to shell out money to buy a cheaper chrome laptop first to do some work starting Feb. I wish Dell could be more upfront on the shipping leadtime so customers will not expect anything soon upon placing order. To be honest, Im not expecting it to receive on 4Feb but all I can do is cross my fingers. I am planning to buy an Alienware laptop too this May but with this long waiting time, Im not sure if I can be a loyal customer.
