Hi,

We have a PS6100 SSD unit half loaded with disks, 12 400GB of them. This unit is running with RAID50 level. Is it wise to change this to the more recommended RAID 6 level?. How 'more' safe is this and will this hit any performance?. (can't change to 10)

We also have some bigger groups with PS4000, PS6000 and PS6100 units combined also running RAID50. Same question  here actually, is changing the raid level wise? and how many disks can fail per member before i hit a risk?.

If changing the raid level, do i have to do that per member? or can i change that on pool level?
