Reduce the visuals inside the games -- i.e., reduce the load on the system.  While this is a gaming system, it's a low-end gaming system - you're not going to game at high levels for hours on end with it.

There's no way you'll be gaming for extended periods on battery power -- the demands of the GPU will rapidly drain the battery.  That's pretty much universal with notebook computers.

I understand I can't play extended periods on battery. I changed the power options in advanced options for the Balanced profile. I changed the Minimum Processor State for both On Battery and Plugged in to 5% and the Maximum Processor State to 75% for On Battery and Plugged in, but only when on the battery are the processors limited and temperatures lowered.

I also lowered the graphics to the minimum.

If you or anyone else has a solution so the same thing happens when I plug in the computer so I get the same thermal cooling as when on battery.
