FPS drops in games
I've had this laptop since 2011 and have been encountering a extremely large problem; large fps drops that last a extremely long time and practically disallow me to play games on the laptop. For instance, I will be running counter strike at 140 fps but than randomly my fps drops to 9 fps. It stays their for a long time (10-15 minutes) unless i restart the game. I've cleaned the fans out and have been led to believe this problem is caused by the graphics card(s). The graphic card(s) are a Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M. Side note: The processor is a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820QM CPU @2.30Ghz. Their are 8 cores in the laptop.

The diagnosis did not detect anything. I assume the reason for this is because it did not include the graphics card on the list of items being tested. I believe the problem is with the graphics card. I've heard many people say a large amount of the Geforce GtX 460m's are faulty. Is their any possible way to get it repaired or replaced???
