Our computer seems to be running slow - and it seems to be like it has too many programs going on.  When we had our old computer - it was a Micron, and someone from Micron told me to check the task manager (or the control, alt, delete) and see how many programs were running, and if there were too many, he told me to close all but 3 or 4 of them.  I can't remember which ones were necessary to always be running, and I'm sure with our new computer, even more are necessary, but now when I checked the task manager - there was an entire page of programs.  Is that normal?  What can I do to clear some, which ones?  and then we can have the fast running computer we thought we were getting! Also, the wireless mouse seems to "go to sleep" when computer goes into the sleep mode.  there is no curser on the screen, so we have a heck of time trying to shut every thing down!  Is there something we can do to correct that little problem!  Otherwise - all is well with our new Dell:)
