just replaced the battery for the above named laptop,has been bad for ages and only ran if on the power lead,new battery arrived,fired up the laptop without the lead and having loaded it showed 75% charge,have run this down to 10% and plugged in the power lead,no green charging light comes on ?? put the old battery in and with power connected the laptop charging light comes on,but not with the new battery,any idea's ??

but the annoying message on boot up that's been on since the previous battery change has now gone,leads been plugged in now for an hour it shows as running on AC but shows battery is still at 10%... Ian.
