dell webcam problem

Hi ,

This is system model -  XPS 15 (L501x) . normally if i use my webcam works with dell webcam central , but when i go for video chat in skype, it stops working.

And my system shutdowns in the middle, giving a message that - recently installed software is not compatible , and  I have checked  the link http://dell.to/ZIaXGZ  but no result.

And I formatted my system  rescently , I have installed the following drivers:

R292194, R292253, R292473 , R297049, R299115 , R304505, R309746

can u suggest me if I have any more drivers in order to make webcam to work properly

So kindly help me to fix this problem

    Hi poojaveerapaneni,

    I appreciate for the trouble shooting steps tried to resolve the issue.

    Please check if you have installed all the drivers in the order given below:

    Also update the webcam application from the link below:

    http://ftp.us.dell.com/monitors/Dell_SX2210-Monitor_Webcam%20SW%20RC1.1_%20R230103.exe

    Restart the system after each driver installation. Reply with the status to assist you further.

    The troubleshooting steps didnot help me to solve my problem, my problem is not yet solved

    can u read the message which I have sent u once again and please solve the issue

    I request you to run diagnostics on the webcam. Please click on the below link:

    Under ‘Hardware’ from the listed components under ‘Diagnostic Selector’ select ‘Webcam’ and then click on ‘Run Diagnostics’. Follow on screen instruction to run the test and reply to this post with the status to assist you further.

    If the test passes, I suggest that you uninstall Skype, restart the system and install the Skype and check. Link to download Skype is available in the link given below:
