No matter what the problem... when you're asking for help, it's important to mention what model system and what OS you're using, because it helps us provide more specific answers/suggestions of what to try.

Hopefully, reinstalling/updating the graphics drivers will solve it?  If not, it would suggest there's a problem of some sort with the graphics card :emotion-6:

It *could* just be overheating, but in a laptop... that in itself is quite a major problem, because there's very little you can do to lower the temperature - other than using the likes of I8kfanGUI?

But it will also be as likely to fail as your Dell, since it's made by the same contractors, using the same parts - and Sony charges upward of $800 for a mainboard if that fails, so get the extended warranty if you don't want to be in the same situation in another year.
