formatted and camera not working

i installed the webcam manager

and the drivers from the dell driver disk, and when i turn my camera on the blue light comes on. but the screen is pitch black

all its showing me is black :S im pretty sure i isntalled it all correctly otherwise the camera wouldn't even turn on?

Hi! maybe you could try to download the drivers from support.dell.com > Drivers and Downloads > Enter the service tag of the computer > download the webcam drivers (Input Device Drivers) and install it, you may want to download the BIOS software, just in case the same issue happens and update it as well.... =)

ok wait, i thought it was working but it isn't

the camera is still black and the mic isn't working

i installed, reinstalled and reinstalled again still not working. it was workin fine before i formatted
