Using the Lattitude D800 with widescreen and attached a 1280x1024 monitor on the analogue monitor port, the video card does not register the analogue monitor as a 2nd monitor, ie. the same image is represented on both the laptop screen and the 2nd monitor.

The monitor properties has identified the driver "(Multiple Monitors) on NVIDIA GeForce4 4200 Go (Dell Mobile)" but activating the "Identify" button displays the number "1" on both screen and monitor.

Via the Dell support I've updated both the video driver, now 5.1.2001.0, and video bios, now 4.28.20.31.C1 but without any change (as both was installed already).

Please advice how to get the 2nd monitor to display its own image.
