While playing Halo on my Dell Insp 8600, I get the following error:

The driver nv4_disp for the display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an
 infinite loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device
itself or with the device driver programming the hardware
incorrectly. Please check with your hardware device vendor
for any driver updates.

I have done the following to attempt fixing it with no results:
-Updated the NVIDIA GeForce4 4200 Go (Dell Mobile) driver to 6.14.0010.4482
 (dated June 2003)
-Reflashed the video bios
-Reflashed the Bios to bring it up to version A03

Additional notes:
I've installed directx 9.0b. Running dxdiag shows no problems whatsoever
