Screen Size Shrinks.
I have Inspiron N5110 laptop. After startup...screen size shrinks near to 1 cm from top...and it becomes maximum screen size available, wallpaper is visible through that 1cm gap. It sometimes get normal for few seconds during usage and while playing games it does not happen.

Hi,
Try pressing FN + F8, a couple of times to check if it comes back to normal. Do you have an external monitor connected to this system?

nothing changed and no external monitor is attached, still the same problem..

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. Check you screen resolution, by right clicking on your desktop, click on graphic properties, and try changing the screen resolution. In addition I suggest you update your video drivers. Log on to support.dell.com, click on home users, click on drivers and downloads, enter your service tag, and find the Video Driver under Video download and install it, and then restart your computer.
