I have a Dell Inspiron 8600. I have re-installed Windows XP Pro and now am having problems finding and installing the driver for the Video Controller.  I have tried unistalling and using the Dell CD with Drivers and connecting to the Internet with Windows Updates and allowing search, but cannot find the driver.  I really do not notice any problems in the operation of my computer so I was wondering if I needed the driver. But when I uninstall the driver (there is the yellow question mark icon by it so I know there is a problem) and restart, I get the balloon in right lower corner saying that Windows has found new hardware.  

 

Please offer suggestions.
