Xps M1730 CPU issues
Hey everyone. I have a Dell xps m1730. I've had it for about a year now and recently i moved away for college and I have ran to some problems with the CPU usage being 100percent even at idle and it freezes up. I did a fresh install of windows and still have this problem. I've looked through task manager and I don't seen anything that is hogging CPU usage.i also can't overclock my CPU anymore without it getting too hot and shutting down. Last nite I tried and got a temp of 90degrees. Unforfuranately it is 7 months out of warranty which is my first problem and I discovered that I did not place the system in my name which I thought I did over the Internet but apparently I didn't. Is there anyway I can get some help with this situation? Hopefully without spending an arm and a leg.
Ok so I got the keyboard off and everything and got to the part that covers the motherboard and disconnecteed everything from there but on the panel where the screen sat on top of has a screw towards the right side that just won't come loose and its the only screw left to unscrew to get the whole cover to lift to expose the motherboard. Is there anything I can get to get the screw to come up by any chance.

Clean the heatsink -- it is probably clogged with dust. You might also check (or have checked) the integrity of the thermal seal between the heatsink and the CPU/GPU core.
