D6000, GE72 Apache Pro-070, 3 monitors help?

Good Day,

I am having issues connecting three monitors through the Dell Universal Dock D6000 to my MSI gaming laptop. My current configuration is as follows:

Monitor 1 DVI to DP adapter into DP 1 on Dock D6000

Monitor 2 DVI to DP adapter into DP 2 on Dock D6000

Monitor 3 HDMI into HDMI on Dock D6000.

When I have that set up, 2 of the 3 work (The DP 1 and 2 not the HDMI).

When I unplug one of the DP and leave the HDMI, then that monitor turns on and starts working. I plug the DP back in the dock and the HDMI goes out.

I have followed the information from troubleshooting by uninstalling and updating DisplayLink, firmware, and drivers updates for USB 3.0 and USB 3.1.

I have contacted Dell Support with no success, MSI tech support, and even DisplayLink support. Everything says the D6000 supports three monitors and I don't understand why its not working.

My Computer Specs are as follow:

    * When did you purchase the D6000?
    * Did you purchase the D6000 directly from Dell?
    * Does the D6000 have a service tag number? If yes, click my name and send it to me via Private Message

    * What three specific monitor models?
    * List the three monitor models maximum resolution and Hz

    * The GE72 Apache Pro-070 laptop must have its AC power adapter connected

    Is this your setup?

Dock D6000 DP 1 out port --> DP to DVI converter --> DVI to DVI cable --> Monitor 1 DVI in port

Dock D6000 DP 2 out port --> DP to DVI converter --> DVI to DVI cable --> Monitor 2 DVI in port

Dock D6000 HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> Monitor 3 HDMI in port

Were you able to resolve this?  We are having similar issues with the D6000 and three monitors.

Having similar issue. My work around was using two of the display ports and my own hdmi port to the 3rd monitor. I prefer using all 3 ports off the Dell dock d6000 if possible.  Please help.

We've returned our docks to Dell as we never could get them working correctly with three monitors.  Dell should revise the specs as I don't think they perform as advertised.
