This file has been added to the 'worklist' but when the actual backup of the save save was running later, it has been deleted in the interim. Such happens if there is an active application working in the background (here it is obviously MSSQL).

There are several solutions to this problem. Some are:

      - stop the application before you backup

      - use the appropriate NW module for online backups

      - export the data to another location and skip backing up the 'active' volumes/directories

    Dear Bingo,

We are not having setup related to SQL DB. This is flat file backup. Can you please give me suggestions to come out of this issue?

    Tsmdodda,

Can you go check if there is a file of this name at the location that is being reported. Sometimes if a file is corrupted and windows is not able to access then it will lead to such errors also. What version of Windows is the client machine on? Also, are you using VSS:*=off in the Save operation field ?

Also, try using with out <> as the backup command and test a backup.

I just got the impression due to the open SQL Manager window. Of course it could also be due to any other application or due to a corrupted file.

    Dear crazyrov ,

My windows server version is Windows server 2008 sp2 .

if we select the VSS in saveset vss errors are occuring in backup ,so that  we removed the vss from saveset.

I guess you are on NW 7.6.x, You will have to upgrade the client version to NW 8.1 and you will see most of the errors go away.

Upgrade your NetWorker client to NW 8.1, your issues should go away,
