I have been having some troubles with call waiting and my new XPS notebook. When I log online (through AOL 9.0), call waiting is deactivated, so no phone calls can get through. I have thoroughly checked through AOL's software, and all boxes that mark "Check here to deactivate call waiting" are unchecked and always have been. AOL assures me that this is not their fault, it is a problem with the modem. After reading through some of the posts on this board, I activated the "Modem On-Hold" feature, yet still no calls come through. Any help would be appreciated.
