Drivers for Networking card
I went to the Dell Support site, put in my service tag code, and was given several suggested drivers for my XPS. Some were successful. I have proper video now and audio. However I still cannot access the internet. I was given 5 options for network drivers. I successfully install the Intel Wireless Blue Tooth 7260 driver, the Intel Smart Connect Technology Application, and the Realtek RTL81G Etheret Controler Driver. However the other drivers that were listed as network drivers failed. I was provided with a log, but it does not tell me anything. Do you have any other suggestions. I have an 802.11 abgn=Bluetooth4.0 Dual Band 2.4Et5GHz, 2x2 and an 802.11bgn + Bluetooth 4.0 2.4 GHz, 1x1 in my XPS. thank you.

Hi,
My first suggestion would be to go in and delete all the wireless drivers listed under network on your system. Go to Device Manager, click open the listing for Networks, and then reinstall the Intel 7260 driver you downloaded. You may have multiple drivers installed that are causing a conflict with your wireless setup.
It sounds like you have the Intel 7260 card in your system, which is a combination wireless and bluetooth card. If that driver installed successfully that should be all that you need to connect to a wireless router / hotspot.
When you attempt to access the internet what message are you getting? is your wireless network connecting but you can't get to the internet, or are you unable to connect to your wireless router?
You may want to check out Dell's Networking & Wireless Support Center. There are some troubleshooting articles that you may find helpful.
If removing all existing wireless drivers and reinstalling the Intel 7260 driver doesn't help please give us a bit more information on what you're seeing when you try to connect. Also, your XPS model type and which version of Windows you're using would also be helpful. We'll see if we can find you a bit more information if the above links and suggestions don't work.
