Internet Connection

I recently reformatted my PC, then found that upon installation that half the drivers weren't installed with windows and that I'd lost the driver disc
I went on another PC downloaded the drivers I needed and and transferred them, via pen drive, to my PC and installed them all.
I then set up the network on my PC however ran into trouble when doing the internet protocol, it is set up with a unique IP (mine is 10.0.0.11, router is 10.0.0.10 and the second computer is 10.0.0.12) on the network and and the subnet mask, default gateway and DNS server addresses are the same on both.
The second computer has internet connection and my one does not, the network is fine as I can see the second PC from mine.
I'm completely stumped as to what it is I've done wrong or missed

Any help is greatly appreciated

    Setup the PC's to obtain an address automatically (DHCP) from the router.  Did you also install the chipset drivers when you installed the other drivers?  If not, you need to do so.

    Edit: installed the chipset and it's still doing the same thing
