I am having troubles getting my new dell dimension to connect at speeds above 28.8 kbps.   The computer I had before this new one would connect at 40-46 kbps, sometimes up to 51 kbps.  I know it isnt a problem with my line, phone jack, or cable because I can put my old computer back in and get in the 40s, then put the new computer back and only get 28.8.

 

Anyone know of a setting that might be limiting the connection?  I have maxed out the port speed on my modem, but that didnt help.
