Went to the 3Com website yesterday and downloaded the latest driver for the 3C905C-TX-M NIC card in preparation to doing a clean reinstall of XP. The file name is 3C90x1.exe, Driver date of 07 Nov,02. My problem is I don't know how to apply the driver update to the Ether CD ver 5.4 that came with the card. 3Com's updating network drivers instructions didn't provide much info. I opened the file that i downloaded and when I did it displayed over a dozen other files so I guess that was the wrong approach. I guess I can just use the installation CD that came with the card after I install the OS. Just wondering if anyone has downloaded the driver file from 3Com and how do you install it? Thanks.
