Power Consumption in Rack/Blade Servers?

Does anyone have further details on what the peak & average power consumption of a rack mounted server (1U/2U) or blade is in a typical datacenter?
I have seen the data from SpecPower, but that is a single source. I'm looking for further sources of information as a sanity check.
My interests lies in right sizing of PSU's & power designs at server level, with an eye to optimizing them for real life server use.

All three of us (Dell, IBM, HP) have power calculators that allow you to build configs and specify a typical workload to show power draw for the total solution and can also drill to components.

    Ours is here - http://www.dell.com/content/topics/topic.aspx/global/products/pedge/topics/en/config_calculator?c=us&l=en&cs=555

You can easily find HP's and IBM's from a google search - I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader :-)

    lambertini,

You should also check out our Power and Cooling wiki page - http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/Data+Center+Power+and+Cooling

It contains the link to the power calculator and whitepapers around power consumption in the datacenter.
