Integrated OpenGL Graphics Adapters

We are looking at a PE1950 or a PE850 that need to have an OpenGL graphics capable adapter. Are the integrated XGI XG20 and the ATI ES1000 integrated adapters OpenGL capable?

I don't believe that they do.  Video is not the reason that you purchase a server...

Thanks for the quick answer. We need high end graphics due to front end web interface presenting high resolution CAD drawings to thin clients over the network.

    Thanks again.

Maybe you should look into a Precision Workstation and see if that can handle the task of being the server you need.

Also, the combination of "thin client" and the necessity to be able to do CAD work kind of feels like a contradiction in terms to me, but that may just be me.

Take a swing at installing the ATi accelerated drivers. I've not had a chance to test it in my lab yet, but it might work. From what is on the ATi site, it seems to imply that is SHOULD work. I'll be able to test graphic s acceleration within a couple of weeks on a 1950, and I'll post my results.
